5th Grade Outdoor Education at Mt. Gilead - October 24, 2019
Our students are safe and enjoying their time at Mt. Gilead!
Late last night, a wildfire started in northeastern Sonoma County. The Kincade Fire is approximately 12-15 miles north of the Mt. Gilead campground. Teacher Mrs. Aquino reported this morning (10/24/19, 8am) that
- air quality is good
- camp is not in the evacuation zone
- no plans for the class to return home early
We are closely monitoring this situation. In the event this situation changes, our students will be transported to an area of safety and we will update you on their status.
