Our Purpose

We desire to provide the best academic education using proven current and traditional teaching methods, tools, and technologies. Science, technology, engineering and math (STEAM) are balanced with an exposure to music, drama, art, physical, and outdoor education.

Our students receive a Christian worldview in all subjects to maximize their God-given potential and to appreciate beauty in His creation. We seek to bring students to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ and to disciple them in Biblical truth and to apply it in their daily lives. Christian character development is a prime goal at Milpitas Christian School. Using Biblical guidelines, we strive to provide the foundation of a strong Christian character leading to self-discipline.

  • What is accreditation and is MCS accredited?

Milpitas Christian School, established in 1974, is a Preschool – 5th Grade Christ-centered educational institution accredited by:
    • Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC)
    • Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI)
Accreditation is an external, objective validation of school quality and student achievement that fosters continuous school improvement.

A school which wishes to be accredited applies to the regional association as a candidate for accreditation.  That sets in motion a multi-year process involving a self-study by the institution together with a final review and report to the accrediting association. The self-study follows procedures and processes set forth by the accrediting commission. It is thorough, detailed and a blueprint both for accreditation and future success.
