Middle School Sports
Middle school students have the opportunity to participate in cross country, softball, flag football, soccer, basketball and volleyball. Boys and girls team participate in the Bay Area Christian School Athletic League. Students learn to achieve through team building and mutual respect within defined limits. They learn to experience a sense of achievement, humility, and respect in a structured, nurturing, competitive environment. Competitive sports participation provides a great platform to develop individual, team, and leadership skills. Each year MCS hosts a sports award night to recognize individual achievement by announcing the recipients of a number of awards. These include categories of servant athlete, scholar athletes with a 3.5 GPA or higher, and the Judy Morasci 3 year scholar athlete character award. There is a participation fee for any competitive sport.
