Middle school students have the opportunity to participate in cross country (Fall), softball (Fall), flag football (Fall), basketball (Winter), soccer (Spring), and volleyball (Spring). Our boys and girls teams compete in the Bay Area Christian School Athletic League.
Student athletes learn team building and mutual respect within defined limits. They learn to experience a sense of achievement, humility, and respect in a structured, nurturing, competitive environment. Competitive sports participation provides a great platform to develop individual, team, and leadership skills. There is a participation fee for each competitive sport.
Each year MCS hosts a sports award night to recognize individual achievement by announcing the recipients of a number of awards. These include categories of servant athlete, scholar athletes with a 3.5 GPA or higher, and the Judy Morasci 3-year Scholar Athlete Character award.
